About Us

We were founded as the 31st chapter of the National Quilting Association in December, 1975.

Today, with nearly 60 members, we are a diverse group, and include people of all levels of quilting experience and interest. Membership is open to all.

Programs
We offer 10 programs each year with expert speakers, classes, workshops, and show and tell.

Charity Projects
We are also active in community service projects, such as the 'Pieces of Love' program, in which we make and donate over 100 small (for infants) quilts a year to hospitals, shelters for battered women with children, and other human services organizations.

Quilt Basting Service
We also provide a quilt basting service for anyone-- members and non-members alike--who has a completed quilt top.  You provide basting thread, needles, batting, and backing that is 2" larger than the top all the way around.  We provide the labor. The cost is $0.50 per square foot. To schedule a basting, contact Velma by e-mail .

Meetings are monthly. We normally meet the third Friday of each month (except July and August) at 9:30 A.M. at either
